The intern will gain significant knowledge in the logistics industry and gain real-world business experience and skills that will prepare them for their future career. The intern will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of driver qualification and safety, ultimately contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the company's operations.
· Shadow experienced professionals to gain insights into the industry and company operations.
· Collaborate cross functionally with other department to achieve mutual goals.
· Assist with onboarding of new drivers, including verifying their qualifications, conducting background checks, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
· Ensure that all drivers comply with federal and state regulations.
· Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to help drive efficiency within the group.
Obtain an understanding of FMCSA & DOT regulations and how they’re integral to the operation.
· Ability to take verbal/written instruction and execute with confidence
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
· Attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and as a team when needed.
· Effective verbal and written communication skills.
· High School diploma or equivalent required.
· Pursuing higher education in business administration, supply chain or similar field required. Junior or senior preferred.

The system will be objective and non-discriminatory.
Pay Range: $13.57-$18.55
