The Dispatcher is a key operations link between Lew Thompson, Professional drivers, and our customers. This position works to track and direct a group of experienced professional drivers, provide excellent customer relations, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and other tasks as directed.
The Drop Lot Coordinator is responsible for managing movement of all yard and shuttle drivers, keeping up with dock moves as assigned by Mars, managing trailer pulls from Fisher Road Plant, Landair Warehouse and West Jefferson Warehouse (Empties, Raws and Pack Returns), and keeping computer work current and fill out shift report. The DLC is also responsible for Driver Turnover, Equipment Maintenance (PM Services, Inspections), and Safety (Safety Training, Accident Reports, Random Drug).
The Accounts Payable Specialist works closely with vendors/departments to ensure timely and accurate payment processing. This position will also be responsible for working open items including payment discrepancies or other inquires.

The purpose of the WMS Solution Support Specialist is to serve as the ultimate liaison between Covenant’s warehouse operations, external parties (including vendors and customers), and Covenant’s WMS Department. This role assists our internal developers, maintains our WMS environment, and works hand in hand with our operations. The WMS Solution Support Specialist understands and enjoys working with the business operations and technology aspects of warehouse operations. The WMS Solution Support Specialist is a subject matter expert of all systems and processes utilized by Distribution Operations.
Engineer Driver Managers are the lifeline of our most valuable assets, our professional drivers. They are responsible ensuring our professional drivers are logistically set up for success. Engineer Driver Managers are required to take actions or make recommendations that are given significant weight with respect to discipline, terminations, and other changes of a driver’s employment status, often requiring the exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to significant business matters.
*Travel upwards of 150-200 nights a year*
The purpose of this position is to be accountable for ongoing Driver Development, Customer Root Cause Development and Dedicated Customer Startups within the Dedicated Business Unit. Above all, this job is to ensure our fleet continues to improve their skills to reduce our driver turnover from Safety terminations.
This position supports the Treasury Department by preparing and applying cash receipts to invoices accurately and timely for our customers.
